I hope this message finds you well.
My name is Christine Son and I am part of the management team at a small academy in Hawaiian Gardens/Cerritos area. We have been serving our community by offering afterschool and summer/winter programs to students grades K-12 for over 15 years. The Founder/Director is a Korean pastor of a Christian Reformed Church in Anaheim and has decided that closing this business and focusing on his main church ministry would be best at this time.
In light of this, we are searching for fellow educators who have a vision to manage and run an academy OR would just like to take over the facility to pursue another business. We have until January 2017 for the facility contract to end, and plenty of materials, furniture, and curriculum that you could keep and use. The space is great and there is a lot of foot traffic due to the Korean market and stores in the plaza.
Anything and everything is up for negotiation. Below is specific information regarding the space and other important info you might need to consider. You can also find attached a few pictures of the facility.
1. Lease started July 24, 2015, Lease ends January 2017.
2. Address 12517 E. Carson St. Hawaiian Gardens, CA 90716 (Hawaiian Gardens Square, Zion Market Plaza, next to Burger King)
3. 1,200 square feet
4. Currently using for the purpose of "SAT Preparatory Academy and Tutoring, Specializing in Math and English"
5. Rent is a little less than $1,800 including all building maintenance fees
6. Currently have 15 students registered (8 Elementary, 5 Junior, 1 High, 1 Adult).
7. Main programs currently offered: Homework Club, Main Class, 1-1 Tutor, TOEFL, Oxford/Whitney Prep
